Debbie serves as the Center’s Food Pantry Receptionist. It is her smiling face that greets the visitors to the center. Her job is to check-in clients who are seeking food assistance
Debbie loves working with the guests, getting to know them and enjoys interacting with them each month. Debbie remarks, “I’ve gotten to know them fairly well. They are always pleasant. It’s a wonderful atmosphere that makes me feel good about showing the Lord’s love and grace.” Debbie describes one special guest who brings goodies to the volunteers and how she brightens the day each time she walks through the door.
In her free time, Debbie babysits her grandchildren, enjoys bike rides with her husband, and works on her book editing business – The Word Nerd.
