Food Pantry Volunteers
The Receptionist greets, validates appointments, confirms Greece residency and directs guests to their appointments. The receptionist also assists repeat guests in scheduling their next monthly appointment(s).
The Resource Connector’s primary responsibilities include interviewing guests/partners, recording individual/family data, sharing information regarding the ministries of the Center for Hope and Hope Church, connecting to community resources when necessary, and praying (when required/requested). The Resource Connector builds relationships with guests/partners in an effort to better assist and serve them, to further enhance both their personal and spiritual needs.
Book Ministry Team Member
The mission of the Book Ministry is to bless children and families in our community by giving each child one free “gently” used book every month during the food distribution event. The hope is to motivate, encourage and to share the joy and benefits reading can bring into one’s life.
Guest Hospitality Team Member
Team members will be readily available (primarily in the lobby) to answer any questions and/or assist and resolve any problems/issues in a caring and friendly demeanor with the guests as they wait for their time to shop.
Packing Team Member
The packing team greets the guest in a warm and friendly demeanor, packs the guest’s groceries and assists them in loading their vehicle.
Shopping Assistant Team Member
The Shopping Assistant greets and offers assistance to guests of the Food Pantry during their shopping experience.
Stock Team Member
The primary role of the Stock Keeper is to receive, unload, stock, replenish and maintain the appropriate inventory par levels for all food products for the Food Pantry.
